WOW, I NEVER HEARD OF A JACK RUSSELL DOING THAT, MAYBE YOU COULD GET THE DOG TO SOME PET STORES TO INTERACT MORE WITH OTHER DOGS, MAYBE SOMETHING HAPPENED WHEN HE WAS REALLY A BABY THAT MAKES HIM AFRAID, MAYBE YOU COULD INTRODUCE THE DOG TO ONE HUMAN OR DOG AT A TIME....

No. Your dog has anxiety and needs to be trained that other people are okay. Try finding a puppy class for socialization. Your puppy will not grow out of this, will continue to be afraid of other and it may accelerate into fear biting.

I wish my little "terrorists" weren't as forward as they are sometimes. Your little guy needs to get out and meet people I(and dogs). Always make it a very positive experience, so he finds it enjoyable, and that should take care of it.

Yes it is very normal. He will grow out of it. Just give him time to adjust to people.

No it's not normal, and no it won't go away unless you socialize him properly.
