Most people are safe, but if you are allergic to eggs , you should not have them. They do have a supply of those shots for people who are allergic. Check out those types. The serum is incubated in eggs thats why people who are allergic should not have them, like ME!

The rumors that the flu shot can GIVE you the flu are false - the vaccine is made with inactivated (or killed) flu bugs, which can not make you sick.

I don't think I could prove it isn't a coincidence, but the ppl I know who get flu shots are ill much more often during cold and flu season... They usually don't get the flu, but my observation seems to imply that the flu shot weakens the immune system.
