I know this all depends but in general if I make 42,000/yr as an Admin Assistant then get promoted to an Executive assistant, about how much should I expect to get paid more? This is my first job after college so I'm not too familiar with the promotion and raise process in the work environment. Just curious how much I can expect to get paid if I got promoted. Thanks.

average raise is 3-5% I was an admin @ gov't contractor & I always got 5%-8% it all depends on your boss. If you move up in company I wouldn't expect more than 10%

Depends on your office and their salary range for each level. You could be at the high end of an Administrative Assistant salary and get promoted to Executive Assistant and be at the lower end of the scale since you are just starting out so there may be no significant change in your salary at first.

Its very difficult to say. Are the responsibilities significantly more? I would think that the salary for this type of position if very dependent on the effectiveness and value of the work that is done. So the more experience you have and the more effectively you work, the higher the pay.
