why wont powerpoint install, my computer......?

when i insert the disk to install powerpoint nothing happens. the disk is in immaculate condition, when i open my comptuer nothing is there. i need to install it as i have to do a presentation at uni this week. help!!! what can i do?

Hi,

Does the disk work when you put it into a different computer? If it does, then make a copy and try the copy. If it doesn't the disk is bad. Contact Microsoft or the seller for a replacement disc.

Sometimes a drive will read one disc, but not another.

Maybe you should have your friend make another copy for you?
