Where can I buy pre-made marzipan? If it helps, I am in Colorado.

How can I make it myself? I want to use it to make figures for a cake.

It's going to be semi-difficult to make at home. It involved blanching almonds and other stuff, and it takes a lot longer than it's worth.
I would try Albertsons if you have one near you, or perhaps Smiths if you guys have those. I know I've seen it at Albertsons before. You might have to ask around a little bit. It seems like it's in the aisle by the coconut-don't remember if it's by the baking stuff. Anyway, it comes in little tube/sausage looking things-like the packaging for cut and bake cookies.
You might be able to find it in baking supply shops as well.
Good luck! I love marzipan!

Most grocery stores sell it. They have a tendency to keep it in different spots - some in the flour/sugar aisle and others in another spot. You can find it in a box and in a can. Both should work for what you want to do with it. The one in the box is a little drier than the one in the can. Ask a person in the store where to find it in your local store. Most chain-stores should have it.
