Is this to do with genealogy, maybe the census or something, what year are you researching ?
This list is taken from a drop down list for the 1841 census parishes of Derbyshire, I couldn't find an exact match but I did find this one it's the closest I could find.

I am wondering if the town is supposed to be in County DERRY/LONDONDERRY, Ireland instead of DERBY, England?? My thoughts are that "AULD" means "old" in both Scotland and Ireland.

As well as being the patron saint of Derby, St Alkmund has churches dedicated to him in Derby and in Duffield, Derbyshire.

The spelling depended upon the interpretation of the person who was able to write it down, relying on the perceived pronunciation. In some cases, the first version had to do because the writer could be unwilling to ask for a repeat. One of my ancestors had her first name recorded in the census as "Holoff". It took me some time to work out that her name was Olive.

I suggest that you concentrate on those two parishes.
