Of course they are a threat to Americans. Even if they aren't terrorists, just ask a family whose daughter was killed by one driving a car. Or someone whose parents were murdered by an illegal alien? The list goes on and on. Build the fence. Kick them out.

For the love of money, people will do whatever to get it the easy way. What has been taking place within the last years and the blind politics with allowing all these immigrants to become citizens, visas of all types have expired, without any effort to correct that area, their should be no doubt the national security is in trouble without some control. One thing is that all these people didn't become illegals over night, the door has been open for a long time now that it's becoming a big problem with trying to reduce illegal immigration.

There is always a possibility but what is even worse is that if we keep letting this people stay here....................we will all eventually perish from hunger, crowdedness , disease, etc. because this country can only hold so many people before all these things become a serious problem and we die. As evidenced by the coutries with so many people in them now that are dying of pestilence, disease, hunger and unsanitary conditions. Do we, know matter how well intentioned we are.......want this to happen to us and out loved ones? Will our service men and women die in vain? I do not think that we can ever completely stop terrorism. If the terrorists want to succeed........they will find a way, despite all our diligent efforts. So...I prefer my freedom as an American, as I don't feel that free like I once did.

I do not believe the illegals are a threat to national security. While you might have a point about a lack of respect for our laws, the main aim these people have is not to violate our laws, but to make a better life from their children.
BUT...
The coyotes may well be. Your points on that matter are well made, and valid. Coyotes are in it for the money, not to be kind or helpful to poor people who want to better their lives.

Since terrorists have no problem violating Internation Law, it would be possible for "coyotes" to smuggle them into the country. With the high fees paid by the "common" people to the coyotes, any terrorist(s) would pay a much, much higher fee. And yes, they could also smuggle in nuclear material and/or weapons

I think anything illegal is a threat to national security. Illegals who are here to support their families in poverty stricken areas are the current status quo. The problem is they come from governments who are not taking care of their own. It used to be in America that we would take care of our own but since we need to interfere with other countries and try to enforce our way of life there will always be the status quo. As for "coyotes" they are a predator on the human condition and need to be dealt with properly. Remember McVey was not an illegal but an American terrorist.

Well I like the immigrants in my area both the legals and the illegals. They do the floors at Giant grocery store and Wal Mart. They are paid on the books. They are here legally. They are doing jobs that "real" Americans just don't want to do.
I think it speaks volumes of the USA when I know so many "real" Americans who are on welfare with plenty of jobs available but they won't take them because the jobs are "beneath them".
I don't see immigrants, legal or illegal, stealing jobs from anyone. I do see many "real" Americans stealing from everone who works to include legal immigrants with the welfare checks, food stamps, housing, fuel assistance, WIC, when jobs are available.
So no, I do not think that illegals are a threat to national security. Our own lazy people are more of a threat to our national security as if they would get off their asses and go to work then there would be less of an incentive for immigrants to want to come here for employment.
The real threat to national security is how many men are suitable for the military should there ever be a draft and with all the drug abuse, felons, and the rest of the bull most men are just not military material and would be exempt from the draft due to their dope, criminal behavior and so much more. We could have legal and illegal immigrants getting drafted if it ever would come to this. Then what would we say?
If America is to stay on top we need to start making our young men be responsible, moral, law abiding citizens insteand of welfare receiving, dope heads having fathered many children on welfare.
Stop picking on the immigrants both legal and illegal and focus on cleaning up our own people first.

Of course - and that's why not having some kind of fence at our border is a threat to national security. If you can't control who is coming in, how do you know if you are getting "migrant workers", terrorists, professional accountants, or rodeo clowns coming across the border?
We are fortunate as a country to have two big natural borders called "Pacific" and "Atlantic". If we had a more porous border like in Europe, we would have the same problems they now have in terms of terrorist bombings (London and Madrid), civil rights deterioration, etc.

Nuclear weapons- no. Other weapons are possible. It would be futile for them to try and smuggle nuclear weapons across the border. Far easier to acquire necessities to make a dirty bomb once they are here.
I just saw your comment stating that you have to have a social to pay taxes. You are incorrect. There is an ITIN that many illegals have to pay taxes with. They do so because they believe that if there is going to be another amnesty, they will br required to proved that they paid taxes. I personally do taxes for several illegals. The thing that blows my mind is that the IRS receives the W2 (wiht fake or stolen social) and the ITIN with the information of the person that is using this number, and, because of confidentiality, they don't notify INS or the owner of the social that it is being used. Mind boggling to me, but, it is the way it is. Here is all you could ever want to know about ITINS:

For the affection of money, people will do regardless of to get it the hassle-free way. What has been going on interior the final years and the blind politics with permitting lots of those immigrants to develop into voters, visas of all varieties have expired, devoid of any attempt to desirable that section, their could be little question the national risk-free practices is in hassle devoid of a few administration. one element is that lots of those people did not develop into illegals over nighttime, the door has been open for a protracted time now that that's turning out to be a large difficulty with attempting to lessen unlawful immigration.

immigration has had a beneficial effect on many countries including ours (UK). That said, LEGAL immigrants are of course welcome - there is nothing to stop people wanting to make a better life for themselves by working hard etc - more than some british people do HOWEVER, ILLEGAL immigrants have no place here - as you say, they have broken the law and therefore committed a criminal offence. They should be deported immediately. If they are illegal, they cannot work and therefore cannot contribute to this country - they can only become a drain on our resources. We are a small island and simply cannot continue to have borderless immigration.
