We dated for almost 3 years. I still love him deeply, do you think I'll meet someone better for me? Also, we live in two different cities. We were doing the long distance thing for about 7-8 months.

Thanks for your responses!! I feel extremely bad about the break up b/c I thought that we were on the same page until he said he wanted to break up with me :-( I feel betrayed and lonely b/c for 2 .5 years he was the center of my world. Plus he's in his early 30's and I'm in my early 20's..

You can send him the gift as a sign of friendship but find someone new.

I was in a similar situation 5 years ago- Of course you will find someone! It will be more difficult if you linger on about your break up though. Let him go, don't give him the present. Go out with your friends or family. I lived w/ my previous BF for 2 yrs, he didn't want to marry, so we split up-I was depressed x 6 mo, then was introduced to a mutual friend, now we've been married almost 5 years and have a baby boy and sooooo happy! Let the other guy go, he is not worth it if he didn't want to marry you-

If i were you i wouldnt give it him, for a while he will still mean a lot to you, but with time you'll get over him and find someone new. So save the prezzie for them if you want. Or if it can be refunded take it back treat yourself, it doesnt sound like your having the time of your life, spend it on something good to cheer yourself up before christmas!

No theres no longer something incorrect with this as once you're married you have different expenses to stress approximately. you'll be grateful of what u get and would do the same with them, by applying one present for them or something small for the two

NO!!! He dosnt deserve it...he dumped you have a 3 year relationship just b/c of marriage I mean if he dosnt want to get married now he can wait and think about and not just dump you right there and then....and I think you deserve someone way better someone who would think about your feelings before they make a decision.

Why on earth you wanna give him a present when he dumped you? I wouldnt waste my breath on that guy. Look girl, you deserve far better than this so called assh**** for a boyfriend. My pain to you for keeping a long distance relationship. Give yourself time to heal from this experience. They say it's best not to look for love when you at least expect it. Meaning things come to you when you not looking anyways. Life's short! Enjoy and embrace life!

~if he broke up with you....then no dont give him the gift. that would look like u were trying to get him to reconsider. it wouldnt be looked at as a nice gesture. it would just look desperate. if its clothes, give it to someone in a shelter. u will feel good about doing that. or, u can donate it to the xmas angel program in the mall. lots of older boys tend to get looked over on those xmas angel things.

No need to give him any gift. He is not a true friend. You will find someone better and faithful, who would love to marry you.
