I do not like when anyone tries to push their beliefs on another person, no matter what religion or philosophy they believe.
It saddens me that people are more concerned with the personal beliefs of others rather than doing something to lessen the suffering in the world.

Well, as an atheistic person, my biggest gripe about theistic people is the whole blind faith thing. They believe in an entity that they can not see, hear, or touch (in a literal sense, not figuratively) without questioning any of it. But then again, that is the basis of religion itself. But, I digress. My actual biggest gripe would be that when arguing theism with theistic people, I often times know more about their religion and the bible than they do. I wish some people would do research on their own beliefs before trying to argue with me about it. Also, theistic people have the misconception that since I don't believe god exists that I have no morals, values, etc. and that I don't know right from wrong. I don't need a book to tell me all that. However, I also have a gripe about atheistic people. Please stop calling yourself "an atheist." It makes it sound like a religion. Try to say "I am an atheistic person," it sounds like a characteristic rather than some belief system. Our only belief is that god does not exist.

My biggest complaint about Atheists (right now, today) is that many who are on here do nothing to contribute in a postive way to the R&S community. Many of their questions are just knee jerk reactions to questions, comments, or philosophies of those whose religion stems from an Abrahamic faith. While a little levity is no big deal, I have a problem when levity turns into mocking, and mocking turns into throwing stones.

Hi Debra good to see you back, and I hope you are feeling better,
I do not have any problems, with people with a different belief than mine,
but I do have a problem with the rude ones, on both sides.

I'd have to say in some cases the lack of respect and politeness on both sides. I see a lot of people from both sides who are respectful, but there are a few who are downright rude.

They center their universe around a belief only held by 28% of a nation, as truth beyond any shadow of a doubt because only educated people believe in evolution. Then, when a Christian points out the impossibility of a biological system (or feature) forming by pure chance atheists accuse them of invoking a "God of the gaps". YET, when they are asked how a particular feature could come about solely by chance they invoke "Evolution of the gaps" (i.e., we don't know HOW but we do know that Evolution MUST have done it!)

My complaint is only for those who come to this site and claiming that we are shoving Christianity down their throats! If they don't like it they don't have to come here. I am deeply hurt to see the mockery! It is uncalled for.I quote scripture so that I can tell my source, when answering a question that another Christian asked. The people claiming to be Atheist here in this site have criticized me for that! If some one were to ask a question about a chocolate cake recipe, and I were to quote let's say Betty Crocker's cook book would another person criticize me for that? We have the area entitled "Know your source?" below the answer area for a reason. Peace be with you all. One last thing Xing out the name of Christ is downright insightful, and it serves no other purpose other than to hurt.

IRL I have little complaints or gripes about Christians. I hate when they ring their bells on Sunday when I'm trying to sleep.
On here, I see fundies marrying arrogance with ignorance. The result scares the willies out of me.

The only thing I really dislike is theology being politicized and pushed into the realms of government and law. Otherwise I have no gripes; not even about proselytizing because I can always walk away from that.
