Yes I have. I am Anorexic and Bullemic. I have been for years. At the age of 34 I was 46 pounds. Doctors would ask me "How are you still alive"! I had been ill since a teen. I had to change my total outlook. I blamed anything and everthing. I had bitterness that flowed. When I started therapy again, after going to therapy for years. This time my therapist agreed on not giveing me Anti Depressants. That is why I quit going before. He would give me assignments to do until the next appointment. Some were crazy I thought. After about a year, I started noticing the compassion in me. And the bitterness was subsiding. Bitterness can kill you. My friends starting telling me that I was looking great. But most of my friends were enablers. So I cleaned out my choice of company. Without the guidence of my therapist. When I was 38, my therapist told me that he should start paying me. And that he felt I was ready to be set free. I felt like I lost a friend. Went home and caught myself with the doubts that once plagued my heart and mind. A week later I went to see the doctor. The nurse about fell down. On the scale it read 103 pounds! I was in shock. I just kept pulling along. When I caught myself with negative thoughts. I would go out and do something as a reward. Being aware of yourself is very important. Now at age 50, I have reached several young girls. A few are recovering, and then a few are still dying. But that is in their minds. This is a mental disease that you cannot fully recover from. This disease stays with you for life. You can control it and keep it that way. I am now 127. I love it and I feel great, I have a wonderul husband. I like me, and I love life.

I found my purpose by looking within, and there I found the Truth. That's when I discovered that my purpose was to try to find the way to Life, to try to find the way to be restored to Life and to my former home where grows the Tree of Life. There is no other purpose of any importance while I remain in this world except that of leaving clues to others for finding the way out of the world.

Well, not really. But once I prayed about whether God wanted me to go and be a missionary somewhere else and He gave me a dream that night about a road post. In the dream I saw this road post on the side of a beautiful country road. The season's changed from summer to fall to winter to spring and the post still stood where it had been guiding people so they wouldn't go off the road. I woke up and knew right away that I was not to go off somewhere and be a missionary, but to stay where I was a be a guidepost to my family and others. I felt He was telling me that I was very stable in Him and to keep others from going off the right path toward Him. And that's what I have done ever since to the best of my ability.

Yes, I have.
I've taught children in Grades 3-5 for 26 years and plan to teach for at least 7 more.
Children are the best. They do not judge. They forgive easily. They do not hold grudges.

I am now teaching children of former students.

The only negative thing about teaching is NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND.
What a bunch of baloney!
All children are not equally intelligent, nor are they all intelligent in the same way. They never will be.

I have former students who come and visit me.
They still love me, after all these years. They remember things I did for them that I had totally forgotten.

One time a former student showed me a note I had written to her YEARS ago. (I had written her to tell her how proud I was of her for trying hard.)
Isn't that cool?

Bless you, and thanks for asking.

We all have the same purpose, to plant seeds, this is to share the Word of God, those Words Jesus spoke to us, they are the talents, do not hide them in the ground, lift Jesus up as Moses lifted up the serpent (the devil) so that we may all know from where we came and how to get back home to the "promised land" the kingdom of heaven.

My true purpose and calling in this life is to be who I am. It is to help those that I might help and give them the kindness and love that I have to share. It is to write my book and it is to give comfort where it is needed. It is to be myself, and be the way that I am and no one else. It is to roll with the punches and get back up and keep on going. It is to love my children and teach them the way. It is to protect those that I love. It is to be human and make mistakes, and learn from them as I learn from others.
I don't know if this is exactly what you were looking for but you asked and that is my answer! Enjoy, and may you walk the path.

I have found my calling: Yes !!!!

Shown to me in Gods Word:
Isa 6: 5-8...Then said I, Woe [is] me! for I am undone; because I [am] a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, [which] he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

And he laid [it] upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me.

Shown to me Good Friday of 2006

Yes, although it took a while to find. I became a photographer, editor and journalist, which means I am now a triple threat in my profession. It also means I can tell my stories more completely than most.

I can only give a simple answer for such a complex question. My purpose is simply to love and to care. Still a daunting task for me but it is my goal.
God bless you too.
