Is that the chicken or the egg came first story...or if the tree falls in the forest and no one hears it does it make a sound..
Depends on your belief system as to this answer.
IMO, man didn't invent G-D, it was the other way around. But that's just my belief.

Yes.

But it's not "man's evolution." Evolution is a natural process; we only uncovered it. We evolved larger brains capable of complex imagination and curiosity. With that we decided to make up a God or Gods to explain things that we didn't yet understand.
You know, that old story that I bet everyone's heard of.
