Too old? Are you kidding? That's crazy!

I'm 36 and getting my CPA. My accountant didn't become an accountant until he was in his 50's.

You have half of your life ahead of you. A CPA is a great idea.

It is never too late to improve your skills or education. At 48 after 30 years out of school I went back for my BSBA, and at 50 accomplished it, was a good personal feeling of accomplishment. I say go for it

Heavens no.... although many firms might not select you for their audit staff, you would have no trouble getting a job in a tax practice and earning your CPA that way. Good luck!

Of course not! It's never too late. I'm in my 40's and working on a master's degree. Go for it!!!!!!
