An executable is also known as a 'Script' and to put it in simple terms it is basically a file that allows a program to be set up and run on your PC. They are often downloaded onto a computer whille surfing the web and can be used to install spyware, adware etc. Majorgeeks.com should have the tool to remove that junk.

an executable file have the extension .exe. It basically mean it a type of program. Some can not run unless you click it, some load into your msconfig file to start on boot-up.

I am getting information. You can search those typing the name and .exe for information.
Here Yazzle;

Here VirtuMode;

I not say these the best, just a quick search.

These look to be Adware. You can get them in many ways. The main thing is knowing what you got and how to remove it.

Let's do it right.

Executable files are those with a .exe extender, that's true.

But also when you click on the following, they can execute a program and affect your computer:

.bat
.com
.scr
.inf ( if clicked and installed )

It's a dirty world out there.
