You can use it in Canada. Just make sure you're taxes are paid up to date. Most Canadians who winter over in Florida buy private insurance to cover them while in the USA.

No, your health card only covers you while you live in canada.
Canadian health insurance will most likely NOT cover you outside canada.

If you live in USA, you need to buy american health insurance.

no and if you are out of canada for 30 days or more you are taken off medicare
