The Bible teaches that there is only ONE true religion (That is reasonable, how can contradictory doctrines ALL be true?)
And naturally, we believe ours is the right one, or else we wouldn't be in it, now would we?
The Bible teaches that only 144,000 humans will go to heaven. But COUNTLESS others, (i.e BILLIONS) will get to live forever in paradise on earth. (Rev 7:4,9; Psalms 37:9,11)
I was Catholic too, and I had a lot of my questions answered by Jehovah's Witnesses.
Please consider the following ways to identify the true religion, look up the Scriptures in your own Bible.
***How to Identify the True Religion
1. The true religion worships the only true God, Jehovah.—Deuteronomy 6:4, 5; Psalm 146:5-10; Matthew 22:37, 38.
2. The true religion offers access to God by means of Christ Jesus.—John 17:3, 6-8; 1 Timothy 2:5, 6; 1 John 4:15.
3. The true religion teaches and practices unselfish love.—John 13:34, 35; 1 Corinthians 13:1-8; 1 John 3:10-12.
4. The true religion remains untainted by worldly politics and conflicts. It is neutral in time of war.—John 18:36; James 1:27.
5. The true religion lets God be true by accepting the Bible as God’s Word.—Romans 3:3, 4; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13.
6. The true religion does not condone war or personal violence.—Micah 4:2-4; Romans 12:17-21; Colossians 3:12-14.
7. The true religion successfully unites people of every race, language, and tribe. It does not preach nationalism or hatred, but love.—Isaiah 2:2-4; Colossians 3:10, 11; Revelation 7:9, 10.
8. The true religion advocates serving God, not for selfish gain or a salary, but out of love. It does not glorify men. It glorifies God.—1 Peter 5:1-4; 1 Corinthians 9:18; Matthew 23:5-12.
9. The true religion proclaims the Kingdom of God as man’s sure hope, not some political or social philosophy.—Mark 13:10; Acts 8:12; 28:23, 30, 31.
10. The true religion teaches the truth regarding God’s purpose for man and the earth. It does not teach the religious lies of immortal soul and eternal torment in hell. It teaches that God is love.—Judges 16:30; Isaiah 45:12, 18; Matthew 5:5; 1 John 4:7-11; Revelation 20:13, 14.

Question #1: because Revelation 18:2-10 warns that Bablyon the Great (world empire of false religion) will fall and Jehovah warns us to get out of her Rev 18:4, if we dont want to receive part of her plagues during the Great tribulation, everyone will see.
The bible also tells us in Psalms 37:34 that if we Hope in Jehovah & keep his way when the wicked ones are cut off, you will see it. (So you have to find the religion that teaches the truth and not falsehoods and examine them closely and make your choice. Everyone has a choice even the people in Noah's day did also.) but was it the right one?
Question #2) The reason Jesus came this earth was to die for our sins and to preach the Good news of his Fathers Kingdom.Matt 24:14 which is his heavenly government which is going to put an end to all of these earthly kindoms and govts. (Dan 2:44) when you have a kingdom whether on heaven or on earth you must have a King. or the Governments on earth have Presidents (U.S). the head person who rules over his domain and people. Well in God's Kindom Jesus is the King along with his small # of rulers from heaven (Rev 5:10) over the earth. The ones that go to heaven will be co-rulers with Jesus over the earth, If everyone goes to heaven they will have no one to rule over for every one will be perfect up there. So he must use a small # which you will find in Rev 14:1-5.
When ruling over the earth makes
These scriptures true and are what is refered to a new heaven & new earth in 2Peter 3:13,,,,Psalms 37:29,,,,, Matt 5:5,,,,Isaiah 65:17-25... So you see all faithful ones cant go to heaven, only certain ones who have the heavenly hope, but the rest of the great crowd which no man was able to # will have the earthly hope (Rev 7:9) which is what a majority of the Jehovah's witnesses rest their hope on. NO you cant EARN your way there, as some lie & say we do, (which we never said) its a Free Gift from Jehovah God for those who accepts the ransome sacrafice & put faith in his Son Jesus and meet their requirements by following his commandments & Obeying by getting to know our creator.(John 17:3)
As far as you saying "Believing in God the Almighty will live in Eternal Peace", I dont think so, you must meet his requirements the reason i say this because even the DEMONS believe (James 2:19) and shutter, yet God said there is NO peace for the wicked.(Isaiah 57:21).

In the famous Sermon on the Mount Jesus Said:"13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Since there are only 2 roads one leading to life and the other leading to destruction, and there are more than 200 religions, only few are on the road to life, that means that the rest are on the wide and spacious road leading to destruction because they fail to do as the Bible admonishes them to do, Most JW's were in other religions or not in any, I personally was born into the Catholic religion, but I chose to listen to the admonition in (Revelation18:4) "Come out of her, my people,
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues You are right everyone who believes in the Almighty God of the Bible will live in eternal Peace and Happiness, but more tham just belief is necessary.(John17:3)3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. Accurate knowledge is neccessary for eternal Happy life in Peace. But knowledge is useless if it is not used, so we need to put the knowledge top use and work accordingly to what we learn, and according to Jesus illustration of the two roads, we need to be on the right road doing the right things to get that life, this means that all the religions that atre not on the right road and therefore not doing the right things will fall this is shown by the Scripture in (Revelation 18:4)
Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.that those not doing the right things will fall.

The Bible teaches that all false religion will fall. The political powers who had henceforth been allies of the 'harlot' Babylon the Great , which represents the world empire of false religion and with whom Babylon committed spiritual adultery, will turn on her and destroy her. At that time it will be evident what false religion is. (Revelation 17:16-18;18:1-20, James 4:4) As Jehovah's Witnesses, we recognize the importance of remaining no part of this world, as Jesus was. (John 17:16) This means we do not get involved with the politics or conflicts of the world. Often this has led to persecution at the hands of governmental authorities. Note the further scriptural reasoning that defines false religion at the source I've listed.

Well, I sense that your question is sincere and worthy of a straightforward answer. Von Anarx and Moises pretty much covered it, but I wanted to help answer your first question about all religions failing.
In the book of Revelation we read about something called "Babylon the Great." In this symbolism, Babylon the Great is referred to as a "great city," a "kingdom" that rules other kings. (Rev. 17:18) This "great city" is symbolic for the world empire of false religion. Why is it called Babylon the Great?
This is because following the flood of Noah's day, false religion had it's beginning at Babel (later known as Babylon). In time Babylonish religious beliefs and practices spread to many lands. So Babylon the Great became a fitting name for false religion as a whole. False beliefs such as the trinity, what happens at death, and use of images in worship all come from Babylonish practices and beliefs.
Now, if you would please open your Bible to Rev. 14:8 you will read about the future destruction of this great city, Babylon the Great which has convinced all nations of lies. And then Rev. 18:4 clearly tells us to "Get out of" Babylon the Great because of her coming destruction.
God's people are not a part of Babylon the Great. :)
Hope this helps. If you have anymore questions, feel free to email.

No, they believe that only 144,000 go to heaven. They also believe that the rest of the JW population will live on paradise earth.
I believe that from the Book or Revelations, that there are great multitudes before the throne of God in heaven, and a great number partaking of the marriage feast of the lamb in heaven. Later they all come to earth following Jesus during the battle at Armagedon. Afterwards John sees the holy city of New Jerusalem coming down from heaven to earth, wherein God, and the Lamb, and the River of the waters of life dwell.
Revelation 22:1-3
1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

because we know that we are serving God like the bible says to. No pagan rituals. We tell others about Gods Kingdom just as jesus did. Thats why we know we are the right religion.
the ones (like me) that are faithful and won't go to heaven will stay here on earth in a paradice like Adam and Eve had.
We can't say who all will be saved thats Gods job.
Hope it helped.

Are you distressed about crimes committed in the name of religion? Do the warfare, terrorism, and corruption perpetrated by those who claim to serve God offend your sense of justice? Why does religion seem to be at the root of so many problems?
The fault lies, not with all religion, but with false religion. Jesus Christ, indicated that false religion produces bad works, just as a “rotten tree produces worthless fruit.” (Matthew 7:15-17) What fruit does false religion yield?
False Religion . . .
MEDDLES IN WAR AND POLITICS: “Across Asia and beyond,” says the journal Asiaweek, “power-hungry leaders are cynically manipulating people’s religious sentiments for their own needs.” As a result, the journal warns: “The world threatens to sink into madness.” A prominent religious leader in the United States declared: “You’ve got to kill the terrorists before the killing stops.” His solution? “Blow them all away in the name of the Lord.” By contrast, the Bible says: “If anyone makes the statement: ‘I love God,’ and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar.” (1 John 4:20) Jesus even said: “Continue to love your enemies.” (Matthew 5:44) How many religions can you think of whose members engage in war?
SPREADS FALSE DOCTRINE: Most religions teach that the soul or spirit is some invisible part of a human that survives the death of the physical body. By means of this teaching, many of these religions exploit their members, charging money to pray for departed souls. However, the Bible teaches a different doctrine. “The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.” (Ezekiel 18:4) “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5) Jesus taught that the dead will be resurrected—an unnecessary action if humans had an immortal soul. (John 11:11-25) Does your religion teach that the soul does not die?
TOLERATES IMMORAL SEX: In Western lands, church groups ordain gay and lesbian members of the clergy and urge governments to recognize same-sex marriages. Even churches that condemn immorality have tolerated religious leaders who have sexually abused children. What, though, does the Bible teach? It plainly states: “Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men . . . will inherit God’s kingdom.” (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10) Do you know of religions that condone immoral sex?

There are over 200 religious desiplines that believe that they are the only way to God. At least 199 have to be wrong if one is right. God is not religious He is real. Make Jesus Lord of your life, and have Him send the Holy Spirit to teach and comfort you, and you will learn the Father. You were made in His image, so ask yourself what religion God would follow?
