1) You can't love anyone without it.

Why is hope important? Why is love important? Why is friendship important? All of theses require faith. Faith in hope that things will work out. Faith in someone that they will not break your heart. Faith that a friend will not let you down. heck just driving down the freeway you are having faith that the other people around can drive.

Faith is important as it allows you trust people. Faith in God is something some people like although I wouldn't call it important.

Faith--in something, whether it be in a higher power or just in yourself--is a survival tool. It enables you to persevere when another might give up, to confront those who would do you or others harm or even to fight them.

Without faith, we could have no hope for a better world. We would consider few things worth fighting to preserve. We would have little, if any, courage. Without faith, the greedy, cruel, and power-hungry could trample down with impunity those who were not as avaricious as they.

I'm with Bubbha Jo. Faith is believing in something in spite of evidence (or lack of evidence, as the case may be). You do not need it in order to feel love, friendship, or trust. And you cannot have it if you are to have reason and logic. Decide whether it's more important to you to believe in things even though there's no evidence, or believe in things because there is.

Faith is belief, trust and obedience. If you don't have faith, you can never trust someone. You don't have to be a theist to have faith.

Plus, it is always better to go through life believing in something, real or not, than believeing in nothing at all.

Faith is believing good is stronger than evil.

Faith is believing that it is easier to read a book when the light is on than when the light is off.

Faith is important so you'll be able to swallow down the whole camel at church - make sure you strain out the gnats first though.

"faith" is simply believing in things unproven. Reality is more important to have.
