Subwoofers/Windows Breaking? lol?

if i put FOUR of these 18 inch subs in my car... would they break the windows or crack them or anything? http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/1043.html

No, you won't break your windows. Rupturing your eardrums and becoming deaf is a REAL possibility though.

Kicker makes very good car audio. I have been selling that brand for 8years now. Those woofers on that web site are a couple years old though. Those subwoofers require alot of airspace to operate properly. I believe that they need at least 5cubic feet to operate properly. You can check kicker.com to check that air space needed or call them. Those subs are also not efficient so they need lots and lost of power. At least 750 watts rms. That being said you would need a hollowed out van or some thing like a Ford Expedition or Chevy Suburban. Taking the back seats out of both. You would also need to upgrade your alternator and need multiple battery's. That being said if all things are correct you would be able to produce enough sound pressure to break a side window or even after time pop out a back window. That system would be so loud that you would not be able to physically sit in it with out ear protection. Now if you don't have the right amount of power and if you don't have right air space A guy with 1 12" subwoofer and a 1/3 of the power will roll up next to you and make you eat crow.

I know a guy running 2 1500 watt RMS subs with 90+ efficiency and running them with a 3000 watt amp and that isn't blowing his windows. I doubt that these will either. Just a guess as I do not like nor care for Kicker. Just my opinion and nothing more. Now if you do like the above guy says, then you might have a really nice system that really thumps.

i really doubt that you can put 4 of those in a car....and those ain't good woofers...Sensitivity (dB 1W/1M): 89.18...that is not very good.....i really doubt that your even gonna crack your windows
