St. John's Gospel, chapters 14-17. This is where Jesus was comforting His disciples before He was crucified.
You can also read Psalm 27:10, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up". That verse has helped me for many years.
But remember that the more you read the Bible, especially the New Testament, the more verses you'll find to help you on your way. Many of us here will be praying for you, so that you will receive the comfort and encouragement that you need.
May the Lord bless you in every way!

"Jesus cried".
that one knocks me down everytime I read it. It reminds me, I am not alone in being sad, frustrated, disappointed, hurt and torn up. No emotion do I feel is one He has not felt Himself!
I also would recommend spending a lot of time with Psalms. Now, if there ever was beauty in praise from hearts of joy, from hearts of sadness, from hearts filled with fear, to hearts filled with hope...this is where I find it.
And don't forget your highlighter! Mark them verses!! who says you can't write in your Bible?? once you find a verse that speaks to your heart, why would you want to forget where it is? Mark that verse!!

I would try two different books. 1.) The Bible and the 23rd psalm. And, 2.) The Qur'an and the Chapter of the Bee.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Isa 26:3 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
Bless you, I hope this brings you peace. In Jesus Name

Hebrews 13:5b says For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
James 4:8a Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
John 16:7 ¶ Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
So get near to Jesus. He is there and will never leave you or turn on you. He has sent the Holy Spirit for comfort. And as you seek Him, he will get near you, too.
I will be praying for you!

You don't need to read... you need to pray!
Hosea 9:14-16 (NIV) (the prophet is improvising a prayer to the LORD!!!...) Give them, O LORD— what will you give them? Give them wombs that miscarry and breasts that are dry. (And God rushes to answer him on the spot!!!) "Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal, I hated them there. Because of their sinful deeds, I will drive them out of my house. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious. Ephraim is blighted, their root is withered, they yield no fruit. Even if they bear children, I will slay their cherished offspring."
God always answers our prayer if we ask him “according to his will”… even before we open our eyes!

Some confidence verses:
The fear of man brings a snare, but I lean on , trust in, & put my confidence in the Lord & am safe & set on high. Proverbs 29:25
God gurards me, keeps me in perfect & constant peace because my mind (both its inclination & its character) is stayed on Him, because I commit myself to Him, lean on HIm & hope confidently in Him Isaiah26:3.
In quitness & in trusting confidence I find strength. Isaiah30:15.
I will look to the Lord & confident in Him I will keep watch; I will wait with hope & expectancy for the God of my salvation; my God willl hear me. Micah7:7.
I aproach the throne of grace with confidence, so that I may receive mercy & find grace to help me in my time of need. Hebrews 4:16.
Some that come to mind:
Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world.
Walk in forgiveness, because Jesus forgave me all my sins & cast them far from me.
Bless them who curse me. (I like to imagine a boomerang come my way (when someone curses me) & that it dips in Gods love (because God loves me) & it returns to sender (this blesses them). When I do this I don't keep the hurt but bless the one who curses me. So? In family the people we care about are the ones who can hurt us the most. And this works for me.
Just remember that God loves you & has promised to never leave or forsake you. And if you doubt Gods love for you, you will grieve the Holy Spirit & have to repent of this. Remember that you have a friend in Jesus & can pray 24/7 because He already paid the debt to atone for your sins. So? Come boldly before Father God. Pray in spirit & truth. Pray in spirit building up your most holy faith. Worship God & who God is in your life. Worship in spirit & truth. In all things give thanks for this pleases God. Speak the positive over the negative (even the negative slanders others have sent your way).

--ONE TEXT that shows God's support in principle as to his care for his servants and their need of comfort:
(Romans 14:4) “. . .Who are you to judge the house servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for Jehovah can make him stand.”
Paul also spoke of himself in weak stages, many times because of attacks on his personage by so-called fellow Christians , thus he exclaimed:
(2 Corinthians 12:9-10) “9Â and yet he really said to me: “My undeserved kindness is sufficient for you; for [my] power is being made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, will I rather boast as respects my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may like a tent remain over me. 10Â Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, IN INSULTS (my caps), in cases of need, in persecutions and difficulties, for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am powerful.”
--What Paul was talking about was that when he was indeed feeling weak , he would in actuality be relying more on God , thus giving him more strength & power to endure!
(Philippians 4:13) “. . .For all things I have the strength by virtue of him who imparts power to me.”
--PRAYER TO God in Jesus name can always bring comfort as we are specific about our concerns as Paul encourages us can have a benefit to our emotions:
(Philippians 4:6-7) “. . .Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let YOUR petitions be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard YOUR hearts and YOUR mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.”
