How would you say your mirror is doing? Mine is definitely old, warped and in need of serious cleaning but I am working on it. Might take years but it a worthwhile endeavor.
Peace Be With You,
Debra

My mirror reflects black demons back at me, but I still think I'm on the right path.

It's a worthwhile endeavour, I believe. Let's not lose heart, sister. It is the Holy Spirit transforming us, not our own self-efforts. We are transformed as we behold the glory of our Lord Jesus, into the same image as in a mirror, from glory to glory, by the Holy Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18) I would say my mirror is also in need of serious cleaning, for I fail here and there. We all tend to say something we may regret later, or lose our temper or patience over something or someone. I am learning to forgive myself as God has forgiven me, and not be too harsh on myself. Sometimes, we tend to be our worst critics. Perhaps the best thing to do is to be a little child, running to the loving arms of our Saviour whenever we fail.

I believe that my actions are an indication of the type of person I am, and the my ability to reason.

If I live a good life and help others, it is a gift of respect to my parents, and shows others that I can see there is value and meaning in living a helping life.

If I spend my time on earth selfishly and in the way of human progress, I am disrespecting my parents and show people that I am incredibly short sighted.

I guess this is similar to your belief of reflecting Jesus. I don't know if any of us really knows what he was like, we all have impressions, but none of us were there, or lived in that culture.

In my own personal faith I believe that we are to try to live our lives trying to be more like the life of Christ. It is a very hard struggle what with all the temptations around us. We must continue to try. If you have to start over, so be it, start over! It is a continuing struggle, but very worthwhile in the end. We will never be perfect, but that should not stop us. Think of the final ending------To be with our Lord forever!!!! God bless you all!

I learn something everyday. Your mirror will always need a looking into. Even if it is to go back and visit who you do not want to be anymore. The good news is looking into the mirror becomes less with age and wisdom!

It's good to see you Debra I missed you.
I told my husband to look in the mirror yesterday does that count? LOL seriously.........the mirror of truth in God's word is working fine. I still look ugly without Christ.

Mine is cloudy. It is uncertain what you see. Most of the time you can see some of Jesus' love, then other times you can the uncertainty of the mirror.

I see your mirror is a bright and polished thing. Radiats a very clear image. Perhaps your glasses need cleaned... ;-)
