actually the prob is dat i use limewire to download songs n i tried downloading movies thru it........but itz takin a long time so i thot i wud preview the movie n i right-clicked n clicked on preview...
it opened in WMP n den says WMP does not support this format
so iz there any solution for that???

If HAVE to play it on WMP 9, then installing the latest Klite codec media pack should help...else:
get WMP 11

or a VLC media payer

just drag and drop it in.. avi shouldnt hav any prob playing in any player coz its avi (Audio Video Interleave) it was introduced by Microsoft back in 1992.. there is a so called avi2.0 format but Media Player 9 shud be no problem..
if it spits out error : .. could not find vids:xxxx ... then just DL a proper codecs..

Playing avi files in Wmp requires that you download and install the divx codec. http://www.divx.com
