(I know not all Christians believe this. But this question is for those of you that believe gay people will be burning in hell for eternity.)
What about transgender people? Do you believe that a straight man trapped in a woman's body (who is therefore attracted to women while being physically female) will burn in hell? How about a lesbian trapped in a man's body (who is attracted to women while being physically male)? We're assuming here that they have not yet had hormone injections or sex-changes.

Bibliophile-- the question was directed at Christians that hate gays, not those that follow the Bible ^^

Gonna be a mommy again-- Thank you for your input. Next time I won't bother trying to learn and understand what causes hatred.

It is like everything else its not hate the sinner but hate the sin and love the sinner. I have plenty of friends who are gay and I love them to bits but I don't agree with what they are doing and the way they live their life's.
With regards to transgender people that is also very wrong but again its a case of love the sinner but hate the sin. When you are a Christian that is how you are meant to look at it.

Any person who could make a assertion that God hates any human isn't a Christian. God hates the sin however loves the sinner. I have simplest been on YA approximately four months and I have on no account noticeable such disrespect and hatred spew forth from any person toward Christians, gays and atheists. I do not have any homosexual or atheist peers as I am a Christian, paintings for my church and do not stumble upon any that I recognise of. I pray for the impolite and obnoxious humans on YA. They have souls too.

The Apostle Paul makes it very clear in Romans 1:21 and following that perversion is grave.
Those whose bodies are mixed up (like hermaphrodites) may receive some special grace from God-who knows. Because they were made that way due to the damaging results of original sin and not necessarily something they did or did not do.
Homosexuality though, male or female, is inexcusable.
Repentance is always possible. The grace of God is available up until death.

No true Christian thinks God hates homosexuals. God hates the sin of homosexuality but loves the sinner and wants him /her to repent. Transgender people as you call them are also loved by God and their sin which is usually homosexual in nature is likewise hated by God. Everyone is born into sin. In that way you could say that homosexuals and transgenders are born that way. But they were not made homosexuals by God. Homosexuality is a chosen sin. We all are born with the possibility that we will choose the sin of homosexuality just like we are all born with the possibility that we will choose to be liars . This " I was born this way" argument that homosexuals use as an excuse to continue in their sin is a lie. Don't fall for it. God hates all sin. Homosexuals repent, God loves you and wants you to come to him. Come to Christ!

all of us are trapped in bodies that want to sin. Why should people who choose to be gay get special rules and treatment? By the way I don't hate anyone. Not even Charles Manson.

Does THIS sound like God hates ANYONE?
John 3:16-17 (New International Version)
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Science has stated in the past few years that there are no 'gay' genes. Read Medical Journals for yourself.
The CHOICE to be gay is a choice only. Imay be be triggered by your enviroment, such as people you surround yourself with, things you watch and read, etc.
Transgenger fiys into this category.
As I have said before, don't take my word, Google it
