My boyfriend and I were discussing "if there was no sex" and he said, "If there was no sex, males would NOT want to be with females." for such reasons. That ticked me, because is it true all males think like that? They're only with their girlfriend/wife because it started with sex and attraction, not how they act funny or what do they that you like?

Hey, I will be honest with you. I have been a Virgin for a long time and yes, I am longing for sex but I would rather be in a relationship first before having sex. Another point with me is, if I like the gal, it is because I like her as a person as well and not just the body.

Sexual intimacy can only go so far, if a relationship is based on this then i would question how long it would last. I view relationships as an emotional connection yes it starts with some form of physical attraction afterall how does that guy/girl get our attention. Its a good point you make however some men are only after one thing some are not. If there was no sex then i guess we would be able to identfiy the one night standers as they would be single alone and we could avoid them right??? problem solved lol Take Care

No it is so not true. Maybe they just havent found the right person for them be it male or female. I would be kinda ticked off as well, it would make me feel very small. Maybe hes gay and doesnt know it LOL. joke.. When i think of a life partner, i think of them as a best friend first, and sex well, i dont have sex, i make love... love first then fun/sex, thats my motto. Then you know that its real love and not infactuation, or lust.

Sex is a very important part of a relationship, but as a guy I can tell you that not all of us are like that and your boyfriend if he wants to continue to get sex, he should learn that its not all about sex. I have found that by doing and caring about the little things about a women that i receive more sex and she feels good about herself and as a whole we feel good about our relationship. Maybe you should cut him off from it for awhile and make him appreciate you and not just the sex. If he can't handle that then maybe he's not the one for you.

I knew my wife of 8 years. 10 years before we married. So sex starts a relationship but it is not all that matters. Kids are fun, laughing at each other, just spending time together, ETC.
sex is great but not all

Well not exactly. You do have ppl who are asexual which means they really are not interested in either sex. Your boyfriend probably just said thinkin he was being funny or stating the obvious, which most ppl would say that or think that.

jesseme just said something that might actuall hold some truth to well besides the part about women being naggy and moody. not all women are like that, i'm not but anyways i think your boyfriend might be rigth but i don't think he speaks for every men because i believe that some of them are not that shallow but definitely true for a lot of men.

Thats pretty much what they all want until about 30. Grant it there are some other guys that aren't like that but they are really hard to find.

I think if there was no sex, most males would choose males as their companion, because they're less naggy, less prone to mood swings. hahaha
