Actually, I've spotted three world-class evolutionary biologists occassionally haunting this forum. They are atheists. The great majority of skeptics here are not Ph.D.'s, but are certainly better educated than the majority of believers. Not surprising, given that the whole point of the scientific revolution is that reality is actually based on the physical realm and not on human sensory perception, as our superstitious ancestors imagined.

I would not think that you would find many. These would probably gravitate to a section where their passion lies. I would also say that the questions concerning evolution in this section really do not require a Ph.D.
