Yes - And these were the same people that believed that planes would drop out of the sky during Y2K, that UFO's crashed in Roswell, Killer Bees are just around the corner, SARS is coming, and the world is ending.
This excitement of living in a time of doom and gloom adds excitement and purpose to some peoples otherwise dull and boring lives.

Yes, Virginia, there really is people out there that believe in global warming.
There is evidence. And any fool can not make a video to look like there is and even just the opposite (?).
Thank you for this thoughtful and pertinent question. It really made me think.

It's really not what I think that matters. It's what the majority of climatologists believe. It's what the computer models predict. If this theory is such huey, why are a majority of governments, including the U.S., either proposing or implementing regulations to reduce global climate change pollutants?

generally it rather is a left-wing liberal subject to have faith that people reason climate replace. Conservatives are often suspicious of unproven theories that rigidity greater money out of people's hands on an analogous time as proscribing their freedoms and increasing government administration and length. these days emails have been uncovered that confirmed the "scientists" in touch have been changing the outcomes and throwing out any records that conflicted with the warming consequence they wanted. they're paid via government components so that is crucial that they get the outcomes the politicians want. So that's a political subject, with not one shred of scientific information to decrease back it up. notice additionally that the democrat social gathering has been taken over by utilising radical left wing fascists, so any subject that facilitates them get greater administration and get rid of freedoms is an significant subject to them.

Yeah, and it's ridiculous. No offence to anyone, but if people would just USE THEIR BRAINS for about three seconds when they see anything on the mass media about global warming, they'd see that it's all just a political agenda. I mean, thirty years ago, the mass media was telling us that we were all going to die from global cooling. Did you know that it was actually brought up that using more oil, and hence having a higher output of CO2 could possibly slow the effects of global cooling, but the scientist who suggested it was hastily hushed up by the media and politicians? It's ridiculous, I say again. Great question, though.

I'm sorry but you and Dr Jello are dead wrong.
Governments have no interest in proposing measures to reduce climate change because it is economic growth that wins votes at present. They are so afraid of telling you the truth that they have appointed the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to do it for them. But it is true and you and others need to wake up to it if you do not want to leave our children and grandchildren in a serious mess.
Please open your mind to the facts. To do otherwise would be selfish.

There are credited scientists on both sides of the argument of global warming. I always wondered why the alarmists choose the side they did. I mean, global warming is not something you can see if you walk out of your front door. So why do the alarmists choose certain facts and scientists over others?

Yes, if you haven't seen any scientific evidence, then obviously there is none!
I'm sure the IPCC is just inventing piles and piles of evidence, because you haven't seen it so it can't be real.
Or maybe your ignorance does not dictate reality.
