The bible has nothing to do with god. (Research) but the only reason we know about god is because of the bible so if the bible is made up then why cant *God* himself be?
I JUST MADE MYSELF AN ATHEIST! I JUST PROVED TO MYSELF THEIR IS NO GOD!

Hon, everyone has different reasons how/why they became Atheist. My reason is alittle different then your's. Just be true to yourself and don't try to change the others. You would have a better change with taking the stripes off of a wild tiger.

Considering that people believed in the very same God for centuries before the bible was compiled (about 400 C.E.), this statement is patently false. Also, your research seems to have missed the archaeological discoveries of pre-Mosaic Yahwistic cult symbols in the Middle East. Yahweh was worshiped before there was a written Hebrew language!

Well, logically, *if* the bible were "made up" (fictional), then God *could* also be a fiction. However, so many of the accounts in the bible have been proven accurate by archaeology, it seems that here, again, your research was far from thorough.

The bible mention, even his own people will turn away from God.

Lots of people who imagine gods are not Christians and have no Bible. the human belief in the supernatural has been with us since before Christianity, before any organized religion, even before the emergence of folk religions 10-50,000 years ago.

yay now maybe people will listen and stop wasting there stupid time in church and worshiping some fake god if god loves us then why is there so many bad things happening in this world ( Katrina, murders, and many other bad things) God seems like a very selfish person just because you don't believe in him u have to go to hell that doesn't seem very nice.
