I mean this partly as a reaction to a post in the R&S which seemed to me that it is evaluating two religions like if they were accesories, something that you merely dress up...
Could you truly believe a religion that you have selected after evaluating its benefits and costs related to your present lifestyle? that is ,selecting the religion to fit your habits, instead of dropping the habits which would be considered sin after your conversion?

i find it strange to put several religions virtually on a table and evaluate them. Like "i like the idea of budhism, but i couldn't have a steak anymore".
