Right on the exact site of the Jews' ancient Temple mount in Jerusalem, or could he have picked any better site for a vision?

What a formula for future ethnic and Religious tensions, might I add.

Is Paul any better? Think about it the lunatic was going to kill the friends of Jesus, peace be upon him, while on the road to Damascus, he suddenly fell off his horse and hit his head on hte ground and thought o have seen Jesus in a vision. lol, he was in a desert and usually when you fall off yourhorse and hit your head on the ground, it isnt a good thing, remember Christopher Reeds.

So, Paul, after this little and isolated incident, became a religious man, a man of God, and what more is that he ended up writing much of the beliefs of Christianity today. Including the trinity. The funny thing is, he wrote most of the bible today, and what more, he never even saw JEsus. I would guess that Jesus's Apostles would have known the truth and have learned everything from their Prophet.

so, it should be caleld Pauline Christianity. lol weird guy.

From what I have read, Jerusalem is never identified in the Koran. That being the case, how do you know that this was the place?
And for the record, Jerusalem as a holy city for Muslims is a very distant third place behind Mecca and Medina.

No, not coincidence but pure deception, as is the Quran in general: http://bibleprobe.com/muhammad.htm

The Quran (or Koran) was compiled hundreds of years after the Bible, and constantly contradicts it (Muhammad was illiterate, and likely got his mixed up stories from mixed up illiterate traders). Yet Muhammad, in his ignorance of it, appealed to the "people of the Book" (Jews and Christians) for verification and confirmed the same Bible we now have (Sura 2:87, 5:46, 5:68, 29:46 and 43:63). Trying to explain this away, Islam came up with the nonsensical assertation that the Bible was changed wherever it contradicts the Quran. Yet there is not ONE SINGLE Biblical manuscript among the thousands of partial or full ones (and which precede the Quran) that agree with the Quran in it's contrary accounts! In addition, the changes that would be necessary to even add or subtract the death and resurrection of Christ (which Islam denies) would not simply necessitate some changes, but virtually a complete rewriting of the New Testament alone! While manuscript evidence from before and after Muhammad's time completely eliminates the possibility of such a rewriting of the Bible, it also confirms that there has been a massive rewritting of the words of God and His history, and that book is the Quran, placing it in the same category as the Book of Mormon and hundreds of other lesser known wannebe revelations of God, and Johnny - come lately imitations of the Word of God!

Jesus and His apostles quoted from the prophets which went before them, as they foretold of Christ, and we have manuscripts of there books today, but Muslims deny them and changed their words, which is a very, very serious and damnable sin! Having sinned and denied the living and true God, we must need to humble ourselves before God as a sinner, and seek forgiveness from the only One who paid the price for it, the Lord Jesus Christ , the Son of the living and true God! And that is my prayer for you.

No more a coincidence than mosques built on top of Hindu temples or Christian churches. Its Islam trying to get a point across.

Is it more than coincidence that the Buddha (Sidartha Gautama) gave a 'sermon on the mount', had twelve original disciples, and was considered a savior through which escape from the mundane world and joining with God was made possible? This was nearly two millenia before Christ.

about being carried up to heaven we Muslims also believe some other prophets to have done the same thing(like Jesus).why should it seem strange well Adam & Eve came down from there didn't they? & about why Jewish places were chosen.well jews don't believe mohammad was a prophet but muslims don't think the same about Moses cuz they were both Messengers of the same god.by the way god himself chose that site

What's stranger is that at first, while he was trying to appeal to Jews as a legitimate Abrahamic prophet, he had his followers face Jerusalem, namely, the temple where Abraham was said to have offered his son Isaac for sacrifice.

But after Mohammad realized he wasn't fooling the Jews, and the Jews rejected his claim to be a prophet, "Gabriel" conveniently reveals to him that Allah suddenly wants the direction of prayer to be immediately changed to the Kabba in Mecca.

Suddenly, Mohammad starts teaching that the Kabba was built by Abraham, and that Abraham was asked to offer his son Ishmael there.

Oh what a tangled web. Too bad Mohammad's followers were ignorant of what was actually in the Bible. But of course, Mohammad claims all the stories he tells which don't match the Bible is because the Bible was changed by evil Jews who "turned away" from Allah. Again...very very convenient!!

Hmmmm......

It's all a lie! He just copied some stuff from the Jews and some from the Christians, stirred the two up with a sword for a spoon and came up with another SUPER CRAPPY religion like Islam as if the other two weren't enough to burden people!

If Mo had a vision then Rosie O is anorexic. That man had entirely too many convenient revelations.
