I'm looking for some Spanish music that i can use to help myself learn Spanish. I'm still a beginner so i'd like to listen to music that is catchy, repetitive and not too complicated - something along the lines of the Beatles in English...
I only know of two so far "Me gusta" and "La Cucaracha". Kids songs and rhymes will also be useful for me. Any ideas anyone?

I think it's a good idea to learn a new language with music. I don't know if they would be to difficult to you (Anyway just google the lyrics and try to follow it) but I love this ones:
- Pereza. Look for them in Youtube and decide if it's difficult or not. It's a pop rock spanish band, in my opinion their best songs are: Pienso en aquella tarde, Princesas and Todo.
- El Canto del Loco. It's a pop rock band. They sing pretty fast but you could try. The best in my opinion are: A contracorriente, La madre de José, Una foto en blanco y *****, Zapatillas and Besos.
- La oreja de Van Gogh. It's pop, pretty slow. Try with Cuéntame al oído and Dile al sol.
- Amaral. It's kind of folk rock. I recomend you: Sin ti no soy nada, Moriría por vos, Te necesito, El universo sobre mí, Días de verano.
About kids songs, try with:
-El patio de mi casa.
-El perro de San Roque
-Luna Lunera
-Los Pollitos

You might find easier to learn Spanish from songs that you already have heard sometimes: this would allow you to recall the sound of the words without much effort.
A very well-known song is "La Bamba"; you could listen to Santana's hits like "Oye como va", "Samba pa ti" etc.
Other songs by Gloria Estefan could result a little more difficult. Among the more Beatles-like in any case are the Argentinean Soda stereo (or their leader Gustavo Cerati): very clean pronunciation and very good music!
