The poem is talking about the power of love, how even after die that love still lives on. I would have to say that the greatest joy that a person can have in this life time is to love and to be loved. Sex is only a part of love, when you love someone you physically show them through making love. A relationship should never be built on sex because it won't last. So love like there is no tomorrow

Yours is likely the view of a person without children, but love can indeed be independent of sex. Of course, sex is how I got the children so maybe it's not as independent of sex as I maintain. On a strictly romantic level I prefer sex and love to be intertwined, so there is validity to both points of view. Happy Holidays.

The joy of love....sex is great , don't get me wrong , but sex is so much better when your both in love. And true love must exist without sex....sex can occur without love....and I love FRIED CHICKEN ......YEAH !!!!!

I have to say love because I love my bf and we don't have sex (yet) and are not planning to any time soon. We kiss and touch and that makes me feel wonderful inside!
