I knw this guy he used 2 be my bigest crush i stoped liking him nd i got a bf i been with him long time nd i reli luv him. nw the guy i used to reli like likes me and i dont wana hurt him but he thinks i stil like him nd i dont have the heart to say i dont like him everytime i bring it up he changes the topic or leaves

he goes to my school. my bf knows i used to like him so is realy edgy and things have happened in the past. I don't wana ignore the guy im friends with him but i dont want my bf to get the wrong idea and he flirts a little which is fine but im scared my bf will think its me and acuce me of something cuz he realu trusts me and i dont wana ruin it

If you think it might be a problem that he still likes you a lot, pray tell: just how does that become a problem?

Just because you've become happier by moving on to someone else with whom you clearly believe yourself to be more compatible does not mean anybody needs to make your old crush unhappy in any way, shape, or form.

Only if the guy is like making moves on you that you don't want your boyfriend to mispercieve as being at your instigation, can I see this to be a problem.

In other words, just make sure your boyfriend is 100% aware of your past relationship with the old crush, and 100% aware of your current and future intentions for the old crush, and otherwise, let it continue.

Do you know how many women there are in the world who actually derive at least part of their income from all the guys who have crushes (or worse) on them? And by that, I don't mean women of ill repute, but singers, actresses, dancers, etc.....

Why else in the world do you think that anybody actually cares about Marie Osmond's son being in or out of rehab? It's because of all the guys who are not afraid to admit that they still have quite a crush on her even though she's now been married and divorced and bearing children.

If it makes him happy, let him have his illusion. If it doesn't make your boyfriend happy, then that's your boyfriend's way of saying not only that he doesn't trust you, but that he'd rather not take a risk on you finding out you'd be happier with someone other than him, which means he doesn't actually love you in the first place.

When you are about to tell him that you don't like him anymore and then he changes the topic or leaves then, good. You don't have to deal with him anymore do you? You don't ever have to tell him that you don't like him anymore. That's not necessary. Just tell him that you have someone else now who's your bf. No need to say more. Just keep telling him you love your new boyfriend with all of your heart. Otherwise you're just leading him on and playing games.
