There are some Muslim leaders who have come put publicly against terrorism. Very few, however, have been willing to do so. Most of the ones who are public about it live in the US, where it is safer to express that opinion than it is in, say, Iran. But other than that, there are Muslim terrorists from different 'sects' of Islam, and from different countries. It seems to be a problem of culture and upbringing, rather than an issue in one 'cult' or one nation as we have seen with other religious extremists.

Well there are many public statements from dozens of major Muslim groups denouncing terrorists as evil and anti-Qua'ranic

The middle east is not one homogeneous political block. Even Saddam, while a violent ruler, used his iron fist to crush any radical religious or terrorist opposition. His rule was driven by egotism and greed, but never religious zeal. Most accounts say Saddam hated Osama Bin Ladden.
Of course there's a few thousand patriotic Muslims enlisted in the Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force. I imagine they'd be against terrorists in the most literal, martial and lethal manner. Their knowledge of Persian, Arabic or Kurdish would make them extra valuable for intelligence purposes..

Turkey, gateway to the Muslim territories and one of the most diverse and liberal nations with a Muslim majority, has been fighting terrorism with all it's resources, even working with the Mossad (Israeli CIA)

Moroccan king, Emir Mohamed the 4th had been campaigning for women's rights ever since he was a prince. Gender equality, which had been awful and outdated for decades. He's allowed women into centers of religious learning and redefined marriage law to prevent spousal abuse and polygamy. This has brought him in conflict will all sorts of radical conservative elements in his country, including terrorists.

Yes, there is. You obviously don't see the effort that arab nations do to arrest terrorist leaders.
Now, is there any evidence that America has the right to hunt down so called terrorists... That's a different matter entirely.

While I have met many who are opposed to it in personal encounters, I have only seen about three to four people say so in national periodicals. I guess most people would assume that the terrorists do not represent Islam any more than the KKK represent Christianity.

Yep. And I see Christians protesting the unlawful, unjust invasion of Iraq every day.
Which part of "Heavily Zionist- and AIPAC-influenced Evangelical Christian America has been meddling in Middle Eastern affairs, propping up despotic regimes and subsidizing the genocide of the Palestinians for far too long" is so hard to understand?

I guess you stood back and read comics as Sunni militias ran Al Qaeda out of Iraq, even turning in Zarhawi's whereabouts to the U.S.

it fairly is a consumer-friendly tactic utilized in arguments to get people off of the subject. whilst they are puzzled approximately Islamic crime they "deflect" the question with the aid of pointing to Western violence against Muslims hoping to go the argument remote from the certainty. the priority they do no longer look to appreciate, or possibly they do, i do no longer know, is that Western armies are no longer faith based whilst Islamic armies or militias are all faith based.
