She must be seen by the vet! Ask for help getting her there! If nothing else works....go public! Someone out there WILL help you! She may have internal bleeding so do this ASAP!

How can you sit here and ask that question? Most people with even half a mind would have already called a vet and had made arrangements to transport the dog or the vet come out. Do you suppose if this was you laying there with a bone sticking out of your leg you would be laying there suffering? Just think of the pain you would be in. Well, this is the pain your dog is going though.
Get off the computer and do what right by your dog.
I hope you have one hell of a guilty conscious for letting your dog lay there and suffer!

Either take it to the vet or Put it down yourself. If you take it to the vet they fix him right up, like a human breaking a bone. You can't keep it at home though w/o going to the vet. The bone will not set right and he will always be in pain. Now go call the vet.

Take the dog to the vet no matter what you have to do to get that done. Otherwise.. You are committing animal cruelty, neglect and abuse. Stop making excuses, get on the phone, call everyone you know.. get the dog to the vet NOW. If you choose not to, then this dog will die from infection and suffer great pain. There is ALWAYS a way to do things RIGHT.
If you do not take him to the vet then I hope someone turns your butt in to the authorities for animal abuse.
You can get serious jail time and fines for not properly caring for injured animals.

Wrapping your dog with ace bandage will not help! You have to bring him to the vet as soon as possible. If you love your dog the distance won't matter.

You should not be wasting your time on here. Start driving towards the vet. Try to move him as little as possible. Give him a baby asprin to help with pain, and get him to the vet. All vet offices should have an emergancy on call number/vet. try to slow blood flow to leg applying pressure above the wound.

If you are not taking the dog for the 40 mile trip then at least be kind enough to put a bullet in its head. Once a bone is exposed to air and dirt if left untreated (immediately) infections will cause it to have a slow, painful death. So either get in the car and drive or put it to rest . Sorry but , those are the facts!

Ofcourse you can. Firstly call your vet to get a tranquiliser for him.Get someoneto help you carry the dog to the car i.e. either on a wooden board or on your bedsheet I know it is tough but slowly & gently shift him on it & carry him to the car & put him on the floor or the back seat of you car & get your friend or family member to sit with your dog & hold him firmly but gently so he wont move. & take him to the vet. My friend you simply must get him to the vet OR call the vet home.If the bone is sticking out means he needs a surgery to fixt it & only a vet can do that.

If your not on the way to the vet right now, ring him and tell him your coming. If money is an issue wait til after he checks your dog out and fixes him then tell him you'll pay him later in installments. Your dog NEEDS to get to a vet or he will go into shock and die. Please get him to a vet. Drive carefully.

However far away you live from the vet still try to get there. You should also try to call an emergency number for animals and they may be able to help you.
