How come some people believe their religion gives them the right to permanently cosmetically alter the body of another?
And this is legal?
(10 pts if you guess what I'm talking about)

No health benfits have been shown, but people who were subject to the procedure or are religious keep trying to invent them to excuse it

oh dear ahlan you believe the myths.
1. urine is sterile (no germs)
2. guys pull the foreskin back to pee, and it goes out the urinary meatus just like in a circumcised guy, they can wipe or wash afterwards if necessary
3. in the rare case of foreskin infection it can be treated with antibiotics, obviously if you remove the foreskin there is no foreskin infection but you lose so much else
4. removing the most sensitive skin decreases pleasure for both partners, as all studies show
I guess you are trying to make yourself feel better that you are missing a bit of your penis.

R U talking about the Islamic practice of clitoral mutilation?
Yes it is legal in some of their countries.
But not here, we are more civilized.

circumcision? Yes it's legal and it has benefits. Where did you get that it doesn't have benefit? First of all under the for skin there is germs after you urinate once you have circumcised yourself the germs do not have any place to hide. There is less infection on the pen*s also during intercourse the feeling for both the partner is more intensive.

Male circumcism is done a lot in this country. So it is natural, that there will be a strong defense of it. If female circumcism was done, also a lot in this country, a strong defense of it would occur. Neither is natural or has significant health benefits to warrant an operation. Spiritual people should respect the natural body more, rather than always trying to artificially tamper with it for no good reason.

Ummmm... Circumcision is my guess.
They don't have the right. But religion provides them with a way to do so.
And it's not like piercing ears. Ear piercing don't have to be permanent, you can't just let a circumcision 'heal over'.
Honestly, there should be more laws regarding circumcision. However I don't think it could be outlawed, due to the religious connotations and the religious society in which we live. Just another thing that religion does for us. *eye roll*

I havent known any guys that have cared about that little cosmetic altering being done to them.
Oh what a bunch of whining babies, lol (jk)
Well I am kind of not kidding because most people in society today would probably tell them to stop whining. Guys that complain about their manhood dont tend to be looked on as very manly.
I am not saying that is right or wrong, just reality.
