Chicken breasts, lean beef, tuna, salmon....anything high in protein for muscle recovery and repair.
Make sure you go hard in the gym... the best way to build muscle!!

eat high protein foods such as eggs, meat, cheese, etc. also take protein supplement right before and right after you lift. when lifting, aim for high weight with low reps (8-12) The more intensely you lift, the more muscle you gain. it is that last almost impossible rep that is really going to get you muscle gains.

proper workout and proper diet would give you what you want. eat good quality, high protien foods like tuna, lean beef and chicken breasts.
do not go for protein supplements as they onl give harmfull chemicals to your body. remeber, hard earned muscles are also hard to lose.

You need protein: Soya, paneer (Indian cheese); Chickpeas; other pulses;Milk; eggs You need to vary where you get you protein from though (ie not too much from dairy products) to avoid eating too much fat. Pulses and vegetables are you best bet.

I would suggest taking protein supplement powder that you put in a drink mixed with milk or water.
I think they sell those in the gyms.
