I am a personal trainer, and my main goal is make sure that my clients remain accountable for their actions and to keep them motivated towards acheiving their goals!
I too have a personal trainer and have found that with a trainer I have been able to achieve my goals twice as fast!

Definately check their qualifications and make sure they understand what you want to achieve.

Just try using normal tranniers

Unless you'd like to train for something extremely specific, personal body trainers can be very expensive and unnecessary!
Most gyms should have informed employees that are trained to help you, or at least find out how to help you. Some gyms even have progress folders and journals for their customers, which include customer status, goals, work out meal plans, and work out plans.
Depending on the gym, it *should* be a good investment.

Good luck

Take a trainer with credentials and experience over the one with a good body. They should be in shape, of course, but it's more important that they know what they're doing. Otherwise, you're just picking someone with good genes.

A trainer isn't absolutely necessary, you could always find a way to work out on your own. You'd be more independant.
