Are you sure you want tot accept the idea that you are not in control of your actions? Is it easier to say that it happened because it was meant to happen than to get credit for your actions? Believing in God does not mean he dictates your actions.
Ever tried saying that luck was what brought you together? Or maybe you are good with people and it was just a matter of time until you met someone who you can spend a wonderful night.
If you keep saying that if you're good you will be rewarded, and just stand there waiting, nothing good will really happen unless you do something for it to happen.
Bottom line is WE decide our destiny, sooner or later in your life.

Coincidences happen BUT not too often; it's why we call them coincidences.
There are no invisible sky critters no matter how much you want them too exist.
Look at it Logically & Reasonably instead of Sentimentally & Emotionally.
Epicurus: Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. If God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?
A universe with a god would be completely different to one without. (RD)

I personally beleive god doesnt have a plan for anyone. Becuase, like Mr. Reeves, I like to think that i am in control of my own life.

I believe in God and that he does care deeply about his children. I think He also has a wonderful plan for our lives- we just sometimes do not listen or believe this.

Where in the Bible does it say that god planned out your entire life and watches over you to make sure it happens as he plans, but still gave you freedom to do what you wish?
I thought so

Hmm.... too bad your god didn't have a different plan for my firstborn, who died at the age of 4 on Christmas Eve. Thanks, Jesus!
And don't forget: there are many children in the developing world who had a horrible night tonight, if they survived it. I guess your god planned that, too?
