Is it a fairly easy language to learn (if you're scandinavian!)? Can anybody recommend a good bookcourse maybe!? Or internet-course...

Icelandic is HARD. It is one of the most complicated western languages, and probably the most complicated Germanic language.
I will learn it next uni term, I think (I had Old Icelandic a year ago), but frankly I'm scared!
Can't help you with books, but wouldn't Google come up with some?

Icelandic grammar is a lot more complicated than the grammar of other Nordic languages. Many Icelandic words are similar to Norwegian, Swedish and Danish words, so vocabulary will probably not be that hard to gain, but pronounciation and grammar are difficult, even for a Scandinavian person.

Good luck! It's nice that someone is interested in learning Icelandic. :)

One of the best internet-course is http://icelandic.hi.is/.

For Icelanders it's very easy to learn danish, norwegian and swedish, so it must be easy for them to learn Icelandic.
