Why are people taught that if you don't know Jesus then you lead a hollow life.
They never question the fact that Jesus was Jewish not a Christian
Or that Christianity was law according to politicians.

Hooray for Talib!

Why pick those books?
Why not just include all of them, it should all be good.. It is Jesus after all.

it is a work of fiction

Do you know what happened at the Council of Nicaea?
they _VOTED_ of the divinity of JESUS CHRIST...they VOTED as to whether or not he was a holy spirt, or just a guy.

they also VOTED on what books would go into what you call the bible

King James sided with the patriarch of the protestant movement, Martin Luther, and decided to remove the same books as Luther.

In 70AD, the Pharisees held a special council, called the council of Jamnia, to decide which scriptures were to be considered "inspired by God" or not. They set 3 conditions:

1.) Had to be written in Israel
2.) Had to be written before 250 BC
3.) Had to be written in Hebrew

It was around this time when Christianity was growing exponentially, and many Jews were converting to Christianity. Early Christians were drawing from scriptures which fell outside the Pharisees guidelines to help support Jesus's Messianic role. These particular scriptures excluded by the Pharisees came to be known as the apocrypha, aka deutorocanonical books.

They were included in the original compilation of the Bible in the 300's AD, but in the 1500's, a rebellious Catholic priest took it upon himself to translate the scriptures for himself. For disputed reasons, he sided with the Pharisees about what should be included in the Bible, and also tried to remove the book of Revelation.

It's still a curiosity why a Christian would side with the judgement of the same group of people which rejected Jesus's divine nature and Messianic role.

Tell you what, go read some history starting with the writings of the Early Church Fathers (you can find them online in public domain so there is not excuse for ignorance) then see if you still want to ask this question. I speak of the first part of your question. From "Why" it is nonsense.

The original KJ translation retained the Deuterocanonical books. It was a few hundred years into the Reformation when they were removed by publishers.

Priests were preeching about a ton of weird stuff, and so they came to a decision as to which chapters they are going to use as sources and which ones they are going to use.
