I find it odd that I can trigger day dreams so strong that I can feel whatever I am enteracting with in them. Heat, cold, carresses, all parts of it, just as real as if I were really there. But I have been told by many, that I am foolish to enjoy something that is obviously not real. I just can't help but to manipulate my personal reality to a way that I see fit, is this wrong? Do you want, or would you reject being able to do this?

ISA 38:14 Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.

It may not be wrong, to delude yourself into happiness! But is that real happiness? I mean, would you rather dream about eating your favourite food, or would you rather eat it for real?having said that, you can have the real happiness filled with the real truth. I know that I would rather have the real thing delusion may be ok for a time, but it's nothing compared to the real thing, the time comes when the delusion is over, and you come back to reality, you then may find it a let down, where as if you work on enjoying your reality, it can be much more fulfilling.

Umm, tough choice. I will take both depending on context. But largely, the way I see it, challenges and frustrations and sadness is there to help us see things more clearly, and to help us develop and improve and strengthen. It is OK to escape it, but to remain in that state would be to delude yourself and steal yourself of a rich and mature perspective. If u think about it, it's all the pain that has helped us become who we are now as we grow older. Even when u are in your own world, Ultimately, you'd want to come back to reality because how much and how long can a delusion keep you intrinsically happy? Wouldn't u rather see happiness in the real world? I think we should try to see the joys in daily living, have meaningful goals, and try to deal with daily frustrations in a way that it doesn't take centerstage in our life. Life is tough, but maybe one has to change ones perspective of a perfect life. The imperfection of life is perhaps what makes it perfect.

It's not "wrong" exactly, that word is far to strong for what you are doing. It is a form of escapism, I bet the same people who tell you that drink every weekend night and drink coffee every morning which are both escapes in their own way. The key is to indulge in moderation, and live in the moment as much as possible. There is nothing wrong with a little disconnection from reality, especially when you need it.

But maybe it is truth-filled happiness and delusional sadness? Can we have it this way round?
Who says what is the truth?
You? Me?
How do you know that truth is sad and happiness is a delusion?

We need to implement our abilities of changing our realities. This is how we perpetuate change for the better. People call you foolish because they are ignorant of our true natures and abilities. Nothing is impossible to us if we believe in ourselves. The church has made sure we lost all conscious memory of these abilities. We need wholesale to reawaken our latent gifts and make good use of them. We can change the world for the better. I do this as often as I can. We were meant to. That's is why we have these in the first place. The world elite don't want us to know just how powerful we really are to the point they gave us amnesia to forget we can do these things. Teaching the world that this is a sin when in fact it is inherent in each and every one of us. You are not foolish. You are awakening to who you really are and what you are really capable of . Let the nay sayers hang themselves. Don't let them steal this true knowing you have. They would keep us ignorant forever in order to control us. Keep awakening to your true self.

i think it would be better to live a life of delusional happiness because at least you are happy dreaming this etc

but if you are living a life of true filled sadness it is going to be very uncomfortable and upsetting

Both have their merits, I suppose.

I guess that the answer ultimately depends on what the truth turns out to be. It could be that no matter how sad the truth is that it is a necessary truth, one that could have immeasurable consequences if ignored.
