I'm entirely aware that being quick to judge is a human characteristic however some seem to have it more than others. I also feel there's somehow a difference between judging and condeming and trying to point out the weaknesses in someone's arguement.

If someone is picking out the weakness of your arguement then listen to them and go away and think about it. Don't let your pride get in the way. You may have been incorrect and in that case you may learn something. If you know you are correct go away and strengthen you arguement with facts and represent it, then they may gain from it. If you are a Christian no one has the right to condemn you.... why ? because Christ took all your condemnation on the cross and if they condemn you is like them condemning Christ. Judgementalism isn't condemning. The bible says we have to judge other Christians if they are clearly wrong and correct them lovingly.

Every time I hear this it makes me laugh. You are judging Christians each time you say it.Being strong in one's belief means you defend and condemn lies. This goes for all people of all beliefs.Instead of casting stones it is far wiser to ask for proof of what you see as an error. And then go out and research the subject on your own, instead of saying:"I don't buy it.I 'feel' it should be this way or that way".I know what others believe because I study other worldviews and match them up with history.

Some "Christians" think that they are better than everyone else and that they know everything about what's right and what's wrong. I don't believe a true Christian would be that way.

Personally, I try to learn whatever I can about something I don't understand before I make a decision whether it's right or wrong as far as I'm concerned.

Because they live in fear and are motivated by their own anger and judgements.

It is easier for them to condemn and put down others when they do not understand the meaning of life.

It makes them feel powerful as they feel that they are making the other person feel powerless.

Yet they do not go by the bible rules only the rules that they make up as they go along.

Its their own fears that motivate them which causes so much trouble for themselves.

If they could see their own behaviour, then they make get the wake up call that they all need. Yet most of them live in denial and it is easier for them to judge others because that is all they know how to do.

Truth is that we all do it some time another
I did it about a hour ago and got back handed for it and rightly so. Sadly, I'll probably do it again at some point.
In one sense it's human nature to want to be right.
And then at times we get complacent or a tad flippant and post something without thinking about it's full meaning or impact on others.

Everyone does it, but it's in the nature of religious doctrine to coerce (this I think is because most religious organisations are more about power and money than anything spiritual).

The basest form of coercion is derision which when performed as a group can be a very powerful motivating factor.

Because they are coming from a stance of fear rather than love. Because they've lost sight of the teachings and lifestyle of Christ which is love. Because they don't realize that they must love everyone no matter who it is, or what the lifestyle. Because they take someone else's word for how they should live, rather than study the Bible for themselves. Because, being human, they get it wrong sometimes. Because they haven't learned how to love the man, but hate the sin. Because, because, because...

I don't think it is just Christians, all religions, especially the Abrahamic religions fall on the judgemental side at times! Anyway, remember what Jesus said, Judge not lest thou be judged"!

It's the other way around ,we are in the public arena you guys sit on the sidelines and cast judgment. You have no 'priests' that we can attack, although your scandals can be greater amongst your members.
Bill Clinton had an affair and the world found out ,if Putin was having an affair would we know?

I really don't know why. A christian is representing ( supposely) God. If they are to be like God, their character should be more Christ-like. How can a "Christian" bring anyone to Christ if they don't live their life God-like? God is love, and not judgmental. If they are being a christian, people may say, " I don't want to be like that!" Or don't want anything to do with God.
It's not christian like to be anything less than loving and kind, and forgiving. God has forgiven them. Maybe they need to think of that.
