I don't want creationism taught in schools unless it embraces a lot of creation stories. Not just mine. We've got religious schools I don't really see the need to stick it in public education.I think the people only want it alluded to as a possibility. Lets face it I just Can't buy abiogenesis. It's a little like saying that if you put all the ingredients for cake into a bowl then leave and let them slosh around for a very long time They'll eventually become a cake. Then subtle change occurs overtime and the cake becomes frosted in addition to three tier. The process continues the cakes vary ... I lost myself there. I just don't believe we evolved from a common ancestor of the ape. ESPECIALLY given the effects of mutations and with abiogenesis supposedly having happened first but not everyone believes what I do and I can respect that.

I remember that! Ancient history class, professor Wick! Weird to hear him talk about masturbating...

I agree; that certainly ought to be first on the list of things taught in a Creationism class...

I'm exceedingly uncomfortable with anything bar real science being taught at schools as science. All forms of Creationism should be taught as part of mythology and religion.

i'm interested...but i think you need a full year of creationism study to fully cover all the creation stories.

learning all these stories doesnt mean i will have to believe in one of them.

This is my point exactly: I'd much rather have an Atheist teaching my child evolution than someone of another religion teaching them creation.

Put the "this is not meant to say that your belief is wrong, merely that it isn't science" type disclaimer on the syllabus to all science classes and leave it at that.

I say go farther back, to the Aborigines and Dream-Time. That would give it more prestige.
