this is the portrait where there is a young runaway boy sitting at the counter of a soda bar with a policeman sitting beside him.

His name is Eddie Locke and, since the painting was done in 1958 and judging by the boy's approximate age in the picture, he would probably be around 57-58 years old now:

Rockwell used his neighbors as models. It is probably recorded in one of the detailed books on his pictures, but of course the kid is about 75 now.

for true no one knows but it is a great picture...speaks volumes to me.
