hmmm...good question, no excellent question. Just because you believe in God, doesn't mean you love him. It also doesn't mean that you appreciate everything that he does for you, or what he allows to happen in your life. God does NOT expect us to be "saints" we are human He understands that. Humans are born into sin and shapen in iniquity...meaning that we can only be so "good" and never perfect. God is pleased when we strive to be good, and help others to be good. However, he is not pleased when we are judgemental toward those that do not believe. He is particularly hurt when people are skeptical or even hateful towards his believers. All I can say is be yourself, your good self. Be loving and kind. No, your life may not make a 360, but that's not what loving God and being loved is about...loving God (love in general) is about give and take...and you have to be ready and willing to give him your heart and time, and know that alot of your past will be taken away from you (hallelujah!). As for being filled with the holy spirit, no I've never spoken in "tongues". Frankly, many of these people are just repeating what they hear others say...THAT IS NOT SPEAKING IN TONGUES...it's almost considered blasphemy, like mocking God or something...God delivers a true foreign language to those he chooses. I have however felt an overwhelming sense of peace, joy, and happiness fill my body to the point of tears, and yes I had to shout...because God's presence is powerful. That's what I consider to be filled with the spirit...but that just me....
sorry about the book...I hope I answered something, but I bet if you ask God he'd answer better.

yes youre right, people dont change just like that but if you are reading your bible each day and praying to God all the time, and asking him to make you a better person and if you are trying your best to show the fruits of the spirit and stuff then thats good.
remember that nobody is perfect and it is only through our loving Saviour Jesus that we are saved, and that you can only get to heaven by believing in Him and what He has done for you

There is a difference between believing and doing. I know this as well as anybody. You just have the wrong interpretation of what you think you believe. If you knew God was real for a fact, then you would at least try, so maybe you do not know about what you think you know about.

If praying has some magical power then why doesn't it changed my life? I also believe in God because when you are lonesome you seek somebody 's company. At that time God is the best option. But I have never realized him neither my prayers was accepted

If anyone describes themselves as a Saint they are lying! Even people of God make mistakes sometimes. And god is worthy enough to forgive us..No one is perfect..I dont care what anyone says. Sometimes we stray away from the right path..but it`s ok..we`re human.

i totally agree.
i mean, its alot to live up to, plus, i cant even be sure if this heaven is just man made. this bible was not personally written by god and handed to us as personal guides when we first came on this land, or whenever we did. its so confusing trying to figure out whats right. so ill just live my existing life right now to the fullest and call it a day.

Not likely, there is no evidence to suggest that there is a god, nor is there evidence to support any holy book as a trustworthy source of information about god(s).
