Why blame me for slaughtering people, when you see no problem in slaughtering animals and even eating their flesh on daily basis?

I'm asking atheists only because they are the only people who believe that man is just "another animal".

I have incisors and my body is dependent on protein and iron for a reason.

What's the reason in slaughtering people again?

1) I am a long-time vegetarian as well as an atheist.

2) I've never said that man is "just another animal." My own species is more important to me than other species, although I'm against the useless killing of animals. I do swat mosquitoes and do not see that as the equivilant of murder.

3) Slaughtering people seldom has anything to do with eating them, so your question really makes no sense anyway.

You're slaughtering people? Are you trying to be like God?

You're very confused. Atheists are NOT the only people who consider humans to be animals, and ALL atheists do not feel that way. Atheism is just the disbelief in gods - that's all. It has nothing to do with the status of humans or animals. Please educate yourself.

You go do that, and while you rot in jail I'll be raising my kids to have Master's and PhD's, mortgages and many grandchildren. Let's see how far your genes make it compared to mine. ;)

*Note: In case you're too stupid to realize, the above response is tongue-in-cheek. Science and evolution describe how things ARE, not how things should be. What you're saying is about as retarded as saying "Atheists! Why the double-standard?! You believe that humans are flightless animals but you get on a plane?!!!"

Just because we don't have wings doesn't mean we shouldn't fly, and just because we came from hairy ancestors doesn't mean we should act like them.

Whilst I am personally not opposed to wholesale slaughter, especialy as it can thin the ranks of smug evangelicals, I fail to grasp the point of your ill-thought-out rant. Do you advocate the slaughter of those that oppose your heart-felt beliefs?

Or is it about eating? It is the ol' "Top O' The Food Chain" gig.? "OK" to kill humans as long as we do not eat them?

You can keep your God. I will not give Him the time of day.

Go in Peace.

I'd let them slaughter people for food too. It just seems other people have a problem with it.

are you slaughtering people for food?

if so, then you might have an argument. otherwise, there is no double standard.

i was born with canines. it's my nature to eat flesh. but i also have a tongue so i can communicate and resolve problems without having to kill someone for the sake of survival.

People =/= Livestock

Christians =/= Vegetarians. One has nothing to do with each other.

If you were a massacring crazy Buddhist, you may have a point.

Otherwise, dumb comparison

Because eating people causes a build-up of iron in the brain making people become insane over time. Durrrr

blame you? i haven't blamed you for anything other than asking dumb questions - got a guilty conscience?

i can't help the way animals are killed. yeah, it's unfortunate how they die, but i need food to survive. if it were my way, i'd go about it more humanly.

another thing, don't group us all together, because though we're of the same religious view (or lack there of) we are not carbon copies. each of us have different view and ideas about other things.
