Fast (don't feed) the dog for 24 hours. Then give the dog 3 parts rice to 1 part dog food when you feed it next time. Each feeding, decrease the rice and increase the dog food. You can also give a couple tablespoons of canned pumpkin (*not* pumpkin pie filling) with the dog's food to help with diarrhea as well. Make sure the dog is drinking enough water and not getting dehydrated.
And you are correct for taking her to the vet on Monday. If diarrhea lasts more than a couple days, it's always time to see a vet at that point.

There are two rules with diarrhea:
1- If there is unexplained blood in the stool, all waiting is off. See a vet NOW.
2- If the dog becomes dehydrated, go to the vet immediately.
Contrary to popular opinion, a dog's GI tract is rather delicate. The sandwich may have caused the upset. Then again, it may be incidental to something else causing her problem. Monitor her closely (things can change rapidly).
In the meantime, check the links below for some really good articles on treating diarrhea and the symptoms of dehydration.
Good luck!
Added- My vet recommends Pepto Bismol (during the diarrhea) and yogurt or Activia (when the dog starts to eat again).

A good remedy for dogs with upset stomachs is to fast them for 24 hours and then start them on light meals of boiled rice with either boiled chicken or white fish, these are very gentle on the stomach and easy for the dog to digest.
If this doesn't cure the problem then you will need to seek veterinary advice as it may be something more serious

skip her next meal. after that use chicken and rice until she has a more normal stool. Then slowly (over a day or 2) wean her off the chick and rice and back onto her dog food. Yogurt when you're weaning back onto regular dog food will help replinish the good bacteria in her system.

Rice is great but you can also give the dog a child dose of pepto bismal. I will not hurt and it will make the pooch feel better. If the dog is not eating rice won't help.

A bland food diet for the next couple of days is the best medicine for an upset stomach. You don't have to fast her, you can feed her bland food whenever you wish. Boiled chicken and rice is the best bland food. It's actually good for her intestinal motility if you don't fast her.

try giving her boiled hamburger and rice only for food and lots of water. this is the most recommended treatment for stress gastritis by vets. it's gentle on their tummies and they love eating it. hope your pooch is feeling better soon.
