How long does it take to get over someone? I never even had a relationship, i was just rejected but i was their friend for many months before the rejection. It's been 6 months and I still think about it, when will it finally end?

Sometimes you will never lose those feelings but they will lessen as the days go on. Part of the reason for these strong feelings to keep on persisting is that you never got a chance to be w/them except for friends. You were rejected and rejection is hard. Give yourself a break and maybe distance yourself from them. I dont necessarily suggest starting a new relationship if your feelings are strong for the other. You never know..down the road it may still happen for you. Good luck either way.

it takes abut the half of time you spent with that person. for example 1 year relationship- 6 month to get over . it's a fact

When your ready to let go. Some time it takes some soul searching for yourself. So you do not bring to the next relationship.

i dont know if this will help... well maybe... but i dumped my ex 2 years ago... and im still paranoid because she still likes me and i see her everyday because shes in 4 of my classes... but i got my new girlfriend and im not as paranoid of my ex... just look for someone else... thats my suggestion
