Well now, he's her EX. If one of them has any brains, they will remember why the other is an EX and not a current thing.
If she's the type to drop you to go back to him, the problems that they had before will just pick up where they left off. Nothing will have changed. It may take a little while for the old behavior to surface and for the new newness to wear off but it will.
If it's likely that she will go back to him, the best thing that you can do is to give her a one way ticket on the fast track back and never let her back into your life no matter what. I would deny ever having known her.
If she sticks around and is loyal to you and never gives you any reason to ever mistrust her in any way, then your a lucky dog. Most of us have a hard time finding a woman that can be trusted for very long out of our sight.

You have been seeing the same guy for a while now. As far as you can tell things are just lovely between the two of you. He calls you up and tells you, he needs to see you, because it is very important.
You begin to think, what he could he possibly want to talk to me about that is so important. Maybe he is ready to take it to the next level. Could he be ready to make a real commitment?

Honestly there is not a whole lot you can do. Just continue to treat her the way you have been that attracted her to you in the first place. It comes down to how she feels about their situation and how she feels in the relationship you two have.
But don't force her into any decision, otherwise she'll feel pressured and most likely make the wrong choice. If she's smart she'll know what to do.

Talk to your girlfriend to see what is going on. Tell her what you heard and ask her if its true.
