During the hot summer months, women will take off their smelly odary sandals or thongs and let their feet dangle on the cool wooden church floors. It smells like the most putrid odor.
Isn't this rude and uncalled for. I've tried to spray body spray which is concealed in my purse, and they turn around offended.

That is nasty! I would not sit next to them or continue spraying them and when they look offended, tell them that they have foot odor. They are rude to take their shoes off in the first place.

They are rude. Probably it's because their shoes hurt, but that's no excuse.

I wish I could be there to see your reaching over and spraying their feet. That must be hilarious.

Perhaps they aren't aware of the smell. I recommend that you sit a little farther away so you can't smell it.
