My computer has Windows Vista Home Premium. When I go and put the SD chip in the drive and I'm in Windows Media Centre it no longer starts downloading my pictures. I wait and take the chip out and reinsert and try again and nothing happens. It used to automatic download and it isn't doing it anymore. I hope it's not broken already because I have only had the computer 6 months. What is wrong?

An SD card is like any other hard drive and should appear in My Computer.
Start by checking your settings for removable media. To modify the settings, open My Computer and select the SD card. Then, right-click and choose Properties and modify as needed.
Manual Method: To access the data, open My Computer and select the SD card. Then, right-click and choose Explore. Use Copy & Paste to put your photos on the hard drive.
