Sorry dear one, but you can't reach atheists by reminding them of what God has done for them. They will prefer their science to God's love and care. Even if they are miraculously cured of a terrible illness, they would just consider it coincidence.

God bless!

I don't believe the world suffers because of or a lack of god... I believe the world suffers because this is life. Being alive is not about having it easy! We are born screaming and covered in blood...that can't end well! Anyone who is an atheist because of the sins of the world is just another hurt human being trying to justify the pain.

I am atheist, because I don't believe we are lead by some old, white guy in a throne. I believe we are responsible for yourself. Now, the non existance of god, doesn't make my morals any less strong. I still believe you CAN'T steal, cheat, or lie. I still believe sleeping around (no matter how free the willy is...) is wrong.

I believe I am cozy in front of my computer, because I paid 1) my rent, 2) my electrcity, 3) for the computer ; and 4) I am not out carrousing...

I observed a guy run around the exterior of a pool crammed with a non-Newtonian fluid for this reason God is genuine, and additionally the soul is an invisible organ interior the human physique that's teleported to one among 2 parallel universes, the two heaven or hell as quickly as we die.

Here is where we are, this is who we are, we are all here for a reason.

I am not guilty (the emotion that you are trying to invoke).

I have found that everything given or taken has no value.

There would be less suffering in the world if the people who claim to be helping would not put conditions on that help.

rings a bell with what? That we exist? Yeah. That a god exists? No. I always answer honestly, honey. I find lying to be one of the most despicable acts of humankind.

I do not attribute the existence of suffering to the existence or non-existence of a deity. Perhaps some attribute the existence of suffering as an argument to refute certain versions of god (an all-loving one?), but I do not take anything from this perspective.
Suffering exists because suffering exists.

I don't see your point.

Are you saying that gawd is somehow protecting the West from all this suffering? If so, I suggest you visit some places in your country that are outside your comfort zone.

You'll find suffering everywhere in the world regardless of which country you live in or what ideology you propose.

What has that to do with the price of fish?
My sitting at a computer neither negates nor affirms the existence of God.

Absolutely not. The fact that I am in a warm house is because I have parents who pay the oil bill on time. God had nothing to do with it.

Suffering in the world has no bearing on the existence of any god. The lack of evidence for any god, their acts in this world, or any holy writing indicate that no god exists.

Any god that waited over 30000 years to reveal itself to humanity is not one I'd respect.

i'm not too cozy actually; rather uncomfortable.

seriously though. yeah, i'm alive and yeah things could be worse, but when i (thought) needed him he most, and when i tried my hardest to believe in him, he didn't show the slightest hint that he cared, nor that he was even there.

so i did my homework on religions, of all sorts, and came to the conclusion that there is no god, that it's all made up.
